Synopsis

Filmmaker Natasha Hawthornthwaite records phone conversations with mums who are experiencing empty nest syndrome. These real interviews are edited together with home video footage and projected into empty bedrooms.

It’s an experimental documentary that echos the sense of loss felt when a child leaves home for the first time.
